Numerous charges follow gun claims

A Table Grove man was jailed Thursday after he pulled a loaded gun on a man during a dispute.

Edward Greg Waters, 43, is charged with aggravated assault, criminal trespass to real property, possession of a firearm with a revoked firearms owner identification, unlawful use of a weapon, disorderly conduct and driving while license is revoked.

Night patrol deputies with the McDonough County Sheriff's Office were dispatched about 8:30 p.m. to Runkle Boulevard in Industry.

A report said that a male subject, later identified as Waters, displayed a loaded rifle during an argument. Waters was gone by the time deputies arrived.

Waters was arrested some time later in Table Grove and was taken into custody without incident. He remains in the McDonough County Jail.
