State fire investigators are still trying to figure out the cause of last week's fire at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edina, Mo.
Edina Assistant Fire Chief Tom Morgret told KTVO Thursday that investigators from the Missouri State Fire Marshal's Office were back on the scene one day this week and told him they would have their final report issued by the end of the week.
Morgret says he has not heard anything back from them yet.
The fire happened a week ago at the historic church in Edina.
Several area fire departments were able to get the blaze put out before the church was destroyed.
Fire crews say the blaze started in a back corner of the church in a changing room used by the priest.
Morgret told KTVO the fire does not appear suspicious.
