New restaurant coming to Macomb
A new food option is coming to Macomb. The Chicago Beef Factory will restore one of Macomb’s vacant buildings that sits right off the town square.
Dan Kokel the owner of the new Macomb restaurant says the renovations will be done locally.
Macomb Mayor Mike Inman said the restaurant plans to stay open late to help serve some of the foot traffic from entertainment and activities happening in and around the square.
“The gentleman who came for us Mr. Dan Kokel from Oswego had some experience in the Chicago Style Beef and Sandwich market, so he is willing to bring that to Macomb. He is looking to be open sometime within the next 60 days,” said Mayor Inman.
The Chicago Beef Factory will be in the former Little Music Shop at 202 West Carroll Street.
Specialties at the new Macomb restaurant will include Italian beef, polish sausage, and panini breads.
