The Quincy Park Board got down to business at its regularly scheduled meeting Wednesday night.
Recently elected board members were sworn in at the beginning of the meeting.
The board approved a final ordinance that officially declared the district's new park on Bonansinga Drive as "Lincoln Park."
Members also approved a proposal to name what's known as the Cedar Creek Trail the "Bill Klingner Trail."
The public will have 60 days to give input on that proposal before the board finalizes it.
Executive Director Ed Seger says the park district's new building will be officially turned over to the district either the end of this month or early June.
"The process of us moving might take several weeks," Seger said. "We probably won't be officially over there until late June, early July."
The Quincy Park Board also voted to replace a dock at Art Keller Marina .
The $350,000 project is expected to be ADA-compliant.
Workers are expected to get started on it this summer.
