The leader of the Quincy Community Theater has a new role in the Quincy arts community.Lenny Bart announced on his Facebook page Saturday that he will become the new Executive Director of the Quincy Society of Fine Arts. The position fills the vacancy left when Rob Dwyer retired in June after 30 years of service to QSFA.Bart relocated from New Jersey to Quincy in 2011 to lead the Quincy Community Theater as Managing Artistic Director. "Lenny's experience in collaboration, fundraising and creative solutions to engage the community are activities that transfer very well to the QSFA executive director role," QSFA president Dave Boster said. "We couldn't be more pleased to find a 'local' candidate with broad thinking and enthusiasm for all the arts."
A news release from the QSFA states Bart will continue to work with the QCT board and volunteers to wrap up several projects.
