NECAC to accept energy assistance applications in Missouri
North East Community Action Corporation prepares to accept applications for energy assistance in its 12 Missouri counties.
The energy assistance would help pay part of your energy bill if you qualify.
The program begins Wednesday for qualifying elderly and disabled clients then December 1st for families and individuals.
"So if you get help with your electric bill you can afford to buy food or pay for your rent or whatever else you might need," said Dr. Leandara Bridgetman, Service Coordinator.
There are two types of energy assistance you can apply for.
For more details on the program and how to apply, contact your local NECAC center.
