Movie theater shooting suspect out on bond

A man accused of shooting and killing a Tri-state native at a Florida movie theater is out on bond.

Curtis Reeves, 71, walked out of jail earlier Friday after a judge granted him a $150,000 bond.

According to court documents, the former police officer will be placed on house arrest, put on GPS monitoring and have to surrender his weapons.

Police say Reeves shot Chad Oulson, 43, in January after the two argued over Oulson texting during movie previews.

Reeves is charged with second-degree murder.

Oulson is a graduate of Brown County High School in Mt. Sterling, Illinois.

Oulson's wife, Nicole, was shot in the hand during that incident.

She survived.
