Motorcyclist injured in Quincy crash

A woman was taken to Blessing Hospital in Quincy Saturday after a car struck a motorcycle at the intersection of 36th and Broadway. The crash happened just after 2:15 p.m.

Amber L. Shultz, of Quincy, was westbound on Broadway riding her 2009 Triumph motorcycle approaching 36th Street with a green light, when an eastbound 2010 Subaru Outback, driven by Veralene Campfield, of Columbia, Mo. turned directly into the path of Shultz's motorcycle. Shultz was thrown from the motorcycle. She received non-life threatening injuries.

Campfield was cited for failure to yield on a left turn and for driving on an expired license.
