Motorcycle club member reaches plea deal after armed robbery

A Liberty motorcycle club member has pleaded guilty to a new charge in connection with a rival club robbery.

Zane Liggett, 55, of Camp Point entered a plea deal with the state. He pleaded guilty to felony mob action charges in return for the state dropping multiple firearms and robbery charges for the May 2012 incident.

Liggett was one of four members of the Percenters Club accused of pulling a gun on two bikers from a rival motorcycle gang in Quincy.

Police arrested 55-year-old Zane E. Liggett, 54-year-old Timothy Jackson of Roodhouse, 43-year-old Gerald Utterback of Barry, Ill. and 38-year-old Joseph Teel Jr. of Barry Ill. after tracking the group to the Percenters MC Clubhouse in Liberty.
