More arrests made following vehicle burglaries in McDonough County
McDonough County Sheriff Rick VanBrooker reports more arrested related to vehicle burglaries out of Bushnell, Illinois.
Police received numerous reports of vehicles that were entered overnight on April 15th in Bushnell.
Detectives and Bushnell Police Department recovered numerous stolen items such as a stolen vehicle jumper pack, wireless Bluetooth speaker, radar detector, cordless drill, tablet and numberous knives.
Detectives learned other vehicles had been entered on the campus of Western Illinois University as well.
Brandon L. Hughes, 21, Daphne N. Keithley, 21, a 17-year-old juvenile, and a 15-year-old juvenile, all of Bushnell and Macomb, were arrested.
Hughes is charged with 2 counts of Burglary from Auto and Possession of Stolen Property.
Keithley is charged with Burglary from Auto and Possession of Stolen Property.
The two juveniles aged 15 and 17 were referred to juvenile probation in connection with the burglaries.
Hughes and Keithley were lodged in the McDonough County Jail. The investigation continues and more charges are pending.
