MoDOT wants to know if it got it right

Transportation affects everyone, whether you physically use the highways or not.

That's why the Missouri Department of Transportation MoDOT wants your input.

Last year, several listening posts were held getting public input on priorities across the state.

MoDOT has compiled all of its notes and submitted a plan to the Transportation Commission.

Now it wants to hear from you to see if it got the plan right.

From now through January, MoDOT representatives want to make sure your voice is heard as it moves forward with its long range plan.

"Unfortunately, there is not money available, but as we go through the planning process ... that's the beauty. We can talk about the need. Some projects we've heard about are the Hannibal Expressway, continuing improvements in Lincoln County on Highway 61, I-70, Highway 63 north of Kirksville, the 54 corridor, and the Champ Clark Bridge."

MoDOT says representatives are ready to speak to any group or organization about the future of Missouri transportation.
