A Moberly Missouri Police Officer is recovering after being hit by a Sheriff's deputy's car.
Several departments were in pursuit of a truck when the truck's tires were deflated by stop sticks deployed by police.
Once that happened, the driver of the truck took off on foot.
Officer Travis Mitchell began running after the suspect.
A Randolph County Sheriff's deputy was just off the roadway and pulled out in an attempt to stop the suspect, but instead hit officer Mitchell.
Mitchell suffered minor injuries, and the suspect was eventually caught.
