Moberly man behind bars on 14 counts involving child sex

A Moberly man was arrested Friday on a Howard County warrant.

Our sister station KTVO reports that Randall Wayne Braden, 30, is accused of 14 counts relating to sexual misconduct with a child.

According to Howard County Prosecutor Deborah Riekhof, the victim is a family member of Braden's.

Braden was arrested in Moberly on the Howard County warrant on six counts of statutory rape, one count of statutory sodomy, one count of child neglect, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and four counts of sexual misconduct involving a child under the age of 15.

Police say the incidents the charges refer to began in September 2011 when the victim was under the age of 14 and continued until June 2014, at which time the victim was still a minor under the age of 17.
