Missouri duo arrested for drug trafficking

A Northeast Missouri duo is behind bars, suspected of drug trafficking across state lines.
Officers with the West Central Illinois Task Force arrested Mark Harvey, 45, of Shelbyville and Camilla Engels of Hannibal near the 1100 block of north 4th Street in Quincy after a lengthy investigation.
They are suspected of trafficking methamphetamine ice from the state of Missouri.
During a search of the couple, police located packages of methamphetamine ice and numerous components used in the manufacture of methamphetamine.
Officials arrested Engels and Harvey without incident for the charges of methamphetamine trafficking, unlawful participation in methamphetamine production, and unlawful possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver.
They are currently being held in the Adams County Jail.
The task force was assisted in investigation by the Quincy Police Department Street Crimes Unit, the Adams County Sheriffs Office and the Lewis County Missouri Sheriffs Office.
The investigation is ongoing, with additional arrests expected.
