Missing Palmyra boy found safe

      The Palmyra Police Department has confirmed that a missing 5-year-old boy has been found and is safe at home.

      The Palmyra Missouri Police Department has confirmed to KHQA that a search is underway for a missing 5-year-old boy.

      The 5-year-old boy is described as a white male with light brown hair and was last seen wearing a lime green shirt and blue jeans. The boy was last seen near the intersection of Main Cross and Stanley Streets in Palmyra, Missouri.

      Members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol along with Marion County Emergency officials are currently conducting a search for the missing boy.

      Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or contact the Palmyra Police Department.
