One lane of Highway 67 south of Industry. Ill. is open at this hour.
Illinois State Police officials do report there will be periodic closures at times throughout the morning as tow trucks haul out the vehicles stranded by downed power lines. Either avoid the area south of Industry, or expect delays.
Schyuler and McDonough County reported Highway 67 was closed overnight due to 15 power poles down south of Industry.
The lines came down blocking the road, trapping several cars on the roadway.
One driver who had pulled off the road because of heavy rain had a power line land on her car.
Ameren crews are on the scene right now.
