McDonough County man gets 20 years in large meth investigation

A federal judge sentenced an Astoria, Ill. Man to 20 years in prison for his role in a major meth operation.

Jeremiah Miller, 32, was indicted in 2012 on a charge of conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine over 500 grams.

His arrest was part of Operation Saddle Up, a federal and local law enforcement operation that focused on large scale meth production in West-Central Illinois.

More than 70 people were arrested during the initial phase of the investigation.
