Mark Twain Riverboat moves upstream on Mississippi
Hannibal residents might notice a normal mainstay on the riverfront has moved upstream a bit recently.
The Mark Twain Riverboat usually is located at the foot of Center Street in America's Hometown.
But right now, it's a few blocks up the mighty Mississippi at the foot of Hill Street.
The boat has been moved but it's not because of high water.
Its warf boat, which is the ticket office and gift shop, is in Fort Madison getting a new hull.
The Riverboat should be back in its usual spot in a week or two.
