Sheriff's deputies arrested three Missouri residents near Marblehead after they sold methamphetamine to an undercover agent, according to a police report.
Cameron Carothers, 24, Paula Schwieter, 30, and April Darnell, 29, were all arrested on methamphetamine charges and the unlawful use of a weapon.
The West Central Illinois Task Force says the three were taken into custody after delivering methamphetamine to an undercover agent.
A search of their car uncovered a loaded handgun, drug paraphernalia, drug packaging and prescription drugs, according to the report.
The three people were transported to the Adams County Jail were they remain lodged.
