      Man stabbed with broken bottle finds himself under arrest

      Randy T. Bowser-Smith, 20, was arrested Thursday and charged with aggravated battery.

      A Quincy man has been arrested after police investigated a stabbing in a Quincy alley.

      Randy T. Bowser-Smith, 20, was arrested Thursday and charged with aggravated battery.

      According to a press release, police determined in their investigation that Bowser-Smith attacked and battered Brad Smith in the alleyway altercation. The release said that as a result, Bowser-Smith received injuries from Brad Smith as Brad defended himself with a broken bottle.

      The incident occurred shortly before 11 p.m. on May 28. Police were called to the disturbance in the alley near the 5th and 6th Street intersections of College and Elm.

      As many as 6 people were involved, but all had left the scene by the time police arrived.

      Police later located Bowser-Smith who had a stab wound in his neck. He was treated at Blessing Hospital and released.
