A Florida man facing burglary charges in connection with a hit and run made an appearance in Adams County court Tuesday.
Richard Russell, 35, of Florida, pleaded not guilty.
Russell is accused of damaging several cars with a stolen vehicle on August 8.
Officers responded to the hit-and-run call around 3:45 a.m., near 6th and Elm and police say multiple cars were damaged.
The car involved in the incident was later found running and abandoned near 6th and Maple.
After searching the area officers found and arrested Russell near 8th and Sycamore.
Police later determined that the car used in the hit and run was stolen from the area of 9th and Broadway.
Russell will appear in court for a jury trial on December 8.
