Police arrested a Quincy teen found naked after wrecking his car Friday morning.
The crash occurred at the intersection of 8th and Jackson streets just after 3 a.m. Initial 911 calls indicated that a vehicle had struck a parked car and flipped over onto its top.
When Quincy police arrived, they found the driver, Steven Miller, 19, of Quincy, inside his overturned 2006 Chevy Cobalt. Upon seeing police, Miller fled on foot removing his clothes in the process. He was taken into custody a short time later.
Miller received minor cuts from fleeing police but refused medical treatment at the scene.
The crash investigation determined that Miller was driving east on Jackson from 8th St. That's when his vehicle struck the back of a parked pickup truck. The vehicle then flipped over and came to rest on its top in the roadway. Miller was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
Miller was arrested for DUI, Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident, Resisting a Peace Officer, Improper Lane Usage, and Driving with a Suspended License.
The police department says Miller is out of jail on a cash-only bond.
