Man charged in two-year-old Quincy bank robbery
A man is making his first appearance in court Monday in a nearly two-year-old robbery of a Quincy credit union.
Pierre Parrish, 28, was detained Sept. 9 in Florida on charges connected to the Dec. 22, 2011 armed robbery at the Hometown Credit Union on 14th and Harrison streets.
Police said that the man who robbed the bank had a gun and fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
A grand jury indicted Parrish on Aug. 21 in connection with the case. He was held in Florida on an outstanding warrant and was transferred to Adams County to face charges.
He's scheduled for a hearing at 1 p.m. Monday.
