Man accused of stealing river barge, piece by piece

The Pike County, Illinois man accused of cutting apart an old Mississippi River barge for scrap metal is expected to plea his case Monday.
Thirty-two-year-old Jeremy McKinnon of Pleasant Hill is charged with felony property damage and theft.
Authorities in Pike County, Missouri allegedly caught McKinnon in the act of using a torch to cut pieces off the barge about four miles south of Clarksville.
Two other men loading the scrap metal were not charged in the theft.
