A Hannibal man faces charges of allegedly kicking a 4-year-old boy.
Thursday afternoon, Hannibal Police officers were called to the 2200 block of Hope Street for a domestic disturbance. When officers arrived, an adult female said she had been in a fight with 32-year-old Raheem R. Oliver, of Hannibal. During the fight, Oliver allegedly kicked a 4-year-old child who was in the home with them.
Oliver ran off, but was caught by officers a few blocks away.
Oliver still resisted officers, so an officer deployed a Tazer to take him into custody. He was placed on a 24 hour hold at the Marion County Jail for Domestic Assault, pending a warrant.
Neither of the victims were treated for injuries.
