Louisiana bank employee thwarts would-be burglars

Two juveniles are in custody after police said they tried to rob a Louisiana, Mo. bank.

The incident happened shortly after 5 p.m. Thursday at the Bank of Louisiana at 101 S. Third St.

The two boys didn't cause the bank alarm to activate, but a bank employee reported seeing the two trying to gain access to the building.

Both were taken into custody after a short foot pursuit.

They're both being held in juvenile detention awaiting a court hearing.
