Here's what we know about snow geese. They're normally the first birds to fly South and the first birds to head back north in the spring months.
When thousands of them get together like this ... it can remind you of a snow globe. Just look at this swarming pattern that reminds you a lot of bees.
And when they travel they literally eat their way north...flying from corn field to corn field.
Here's an interesting fact, when wintering and migrating, lookouts are designated to keep an eye out for eagles and other predators. Upon sighting a threat they call out to the rest of the flock, which causes them all to take flight.
