Tri-State Law Enforcement officials are now gearing up for a long run, but it's all for a good cause.
The third leg for the 2014 Special Olympics Torch run will happen Tuesday.
Officers will carry the torch 22.5 miles from Quincy to the Hancock County line.
That's where they'll hand it off to officers that will run towards Carthage then onto Macomb.
The torch will end up in Bloomington on Friday.
This run is the largest fundraiser for the Special Olympics.
