Liberty residents accused of growing pot head to court

      Roger Strieker, 44

A Liberty man charged with growing marijuana in his home will enter a plea later this month in Adams County Court.

Roger Strieker appeared Friday with his attorney and waived his right to a jury.

He will enter a plea on October 22.

Strieker was arrested in May after police found 40 marijuana plants, growing equipment and processed marijuana in his home.

A woman arrested along with Strieker, Nancy Taylor, had pleaded not guilty in August.

Her trial will begin on November 10.
