Lewis County teens arrested for burglary

Two Lewis County teens were arrested Wednesday in connection with a pair of robberies.

Kiron Mosby, 17, is in jail on one count of burglary, a class C felony.

Authorities says Mosby and a 16-year-old juvenile unlawfully entered the Ewing Thrift Store in Ewing, Missouri on or around August 11.

They allegedly took $35 from the business.

The two teens are also suspected of stealing money from the Ewing Senior Center at the senior housing complex.

The 16-year-old was taken to the Bruce Normile Juvenile Justice Center in Kirksville, Missouri.

Mosby was taken to the Lewis County Jail on a $15,000 bond.

The Lewis County Sheriff's Office also is investigating a series of thefts from vehicles in the Ewing area.

Authorities say they've recovered electronic devices.
