Lee County, Iowa residents now officially have a new county attorney
Lee County, Iowa residents now officially have a new county attorney.
Clinton Boddicker was sworn into the position Tuesday morning.
Voters chose Boddicker during a special election last week.
Boddicker has worked in the county attorney's office for the past nine years.
He mentioned his main goal now is to get to work.
"We're just going to get on top of all the cases that we have and see how it goes and down the road we may have to look at maybe adding some additional personnel depending on how busy we are," Boddicker explained.
Boddicker replaces Mike Short who held the position for 30 years until he retired.
