For those who are looking for that last minute Christmas present, do not feel alone. The Quincy Mall flooded with people looking for the perfect present two days before Christmas.
Lines of people flowed in and out of the Quincy Mall all with a similar goal in mind... What present should I buy?
With Christmas right around the corner, the shopping day became a shopping frenzy. Many of the businesses inside the mall looked forward to the heavy foot traffic.
"We have been very busy. We are right beside Santa, so everybody who is getting their last little request for Santa, so that also brings us a little more added benefit because while the kids are waiting in line, the moms and dads are coming over here shopping and getting a lot of last minute items," owner of Domestics Etc. Joy Bearhorst said.
Kim Stewart and her family run a seasonal shop in the mall called "the Sports Spot." The store sells professional sports memorabilia. The family has owned this shop for more than twenty years.
Stewart started working out of the Quincy Mall last year. The business officially began in a mall in Springfield, Illinois.
