Macon County authorities arrested a man wanted in connection with a murder in the state of Louisiana.
Jerry Ronald Graves, 35, of Washington Parish, La. Was arrested in the LaPlata area where it was believed he was visiting members of his family.
Deputies from the Macon County Sheriff's Office arrested contacted Graves' family members and later located him driving in a vehicle. He was arrested without incident during a traffic stop, the Sheriff's Office said.
Graves is currently lodged in the Macon County Jail without bond and is awaiting extradition to Louisiana.
Graves was wanted in connection with the Nov. 8 murder of Tilly McCain, 68, who was found by his grandson stabbed to death in his kitchen.
