Two Knox County men are charged with kidnapping and other felony charges in connection with an incident that occurred in May.
Jerry Davis, 42, of Edina, is charged with felony counts of kidnapping, tampering with a victim, felonious restraint and two counts of domestic assault, while Jonathon Prebe, 32, of Edina, is charged with felony counts of kidnapping and tampering with a victim. There are also two misdemeanor charges against Prebe.
According to court papers, a victim told authorities she was held at the Prebe residence by the two men, against her will.
They prevented her from leaving the residence, but released her when she promised the two men she wouldn't call the cops.
This case is tied to the previous arrest of Davis in Adair County on charges of stealing the same victim's vehicle.
Authorities say the two men were trying to persuade the victim from testifying in the previous case.
Davis and Prebe were arrested on the most recent charges as a result of a drug raid at the Prebe residence. Charges are pending against both men in connection with the drug raid.
Both men are being held in the Adair County jail, Davis under $150,000 cash only bond and Prebe under $100,000 cash only bond.
