KHQA Severe Weather Text Alerts
We recently went through an upgrade to our SMS text alert system.
There was a black out period from Monday, April 3rd through Wednesday, April 12th where KHQA did not send out any text alerts.
During that week, all subscribed users should have received a text alert explaining the upgrade and giving the user the option to reply 'Y' if they'd like to continue getting KHQA Text Alerts once the upgrade was complete.
(The new text alerts will no longer be coming from '91217' and will now come from '30126')
As of Thursday, April 13th, our new text alert system is back up and running!
If you are not receiving our breaking news, severe weather, and/or weekday weather forecast text alerts, click here to re-signup.
You can unsubscribe from these alerts by replying "STOP". Note: Replying "STOP" will remove you from all KHQA Text Alert lists you may be signed up for.
If you reply "STOP" on accident, text "Y" to '30126' to opt yourself back in. Then go to our signup page and check the lists you'd like to receive.
