Maureen A. Kahn was named the next become president and Chief Executive Officer of Blessing Corporate Services.

Sheâ??ll take over the position Oct. 1 after the retirement of current president and CEO B. Bradford Billings. Billings retires Sept. 30 after 34 years with the Blessing organization. He spent the last 14 years as BCS president and CEO.

Kahn spent 24 years in healthcare before arriving at Blessing Hospital. She served as a senior vice president of patient services at Newton Wellesley Hospital in Newton, Mass. near Boston. She also served in leadership roles at hospitals in New York and Pennsylvania.
She came to Blessing Hospital in April 2001 as senior vice president and chief nursing officer, and became president and CEO on the hospital in May 2005.

BCS is the parent company of the Blessing Health System, which includes Blessing Hospital, Illini Community Hospital in Pittsfield, Blessing Physician Services, The Blessing Foundation and Denman Services.
