A Quincy man facing murder charges in connection to a knife attack last month pleaded not guilty Wednesday morning in Adams County Court.
Alex Koehler, 27, had undergone a psychological fitness evaluation. Details of the evaluation are sealed.
Koehler faces two charges of first degree murder.
Police arrested him July 9 after they say he attacked 56-year-old Robert Owens in the 900 block of Payson Avenue with a knife.
Owens suffered a serious injury and died at Blessing Hospital later that week.
A jury trial for Koehler is scheduled for October 14.
He is being held on a million dollars bond in the Adams County Jail.
