Iowa man arrested for meth and weapon possession following traffic stop
On Friday afternoon, the Burlington Police Department conducted a traffic enforcement stop in the area of Flint Hills Drive and Market Street.
A search was conducted on the vehicle and the driver, Jason Earl Davis, was found to be in possession of a significant amount of Methamphetamine.
The 40-year-old Salem, Iowa resident was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute, a class B felony, Carrying Weapons (knife), a serious misdemeanor, Drug Tax Stamp Violation, a class D felony, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor.
Jason Earl Davis is being held at the Des Moines County Correctional Center on no bond pending a court appearance.
