Iowa Governor Terry Branstad will make his way to Keokuk Friday.
He's expected to stop by the Keokuk Area Hospital to sign the reenactment of HF 2460.
The legislation provides a loan to the hospital for up to 5 million.
The facility has faced financial hardships in the past few years that officials say is linked to the lack of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement.
The ceremony starts at 2:30 p.m.
