Illinois Department of Natural Resources issue 1,800 citations
The Illinois Department of Natural Resources and Conservation Police issued more than 1,800 citations and warnings to violators during Illinois’ busiest hunting season.
Conservation Police issued 831 citations and 971 written warnings.
Sixteen firearms from violators as well as 430 pounds of deer meat were seized by conservation police, all this just over a period of three weeks.
