The Schuyler County Sheriff's Office released the identity of a man killed in a Feb. 26 fire.
David Zilly, 70, died of carbon monoxide and smoke inhalation. There was no foul play involved.
The Sheriff's Office identified Zilly through DNA analysis performed at the Illinois State Police crime lab in Morton.
A fire started shortly after noon about 4 miles north of Bader, at the Schuyler and Fulton County line.
A neighbor reported seeing smoke coming from a machine shed. The large, metal shed was destroyed with a few areas still smoldering when the Sheriff's Office and Astoria Fire Department arrived at the scene.
Chief Deputy Sheriff Jim Boyd discovered a body in the remains of the building.
