Hannibal LaGrange University was also hit hard by Monday night storm.
A roof was ripped from the science building at the school.
There are also reports of water damage to the Roland Fine Arts building.
Trees were snapped all around the campus.
The back gate the school was also damaged and the windows have been blown out of several classrooms.
HLGU President Dr. Anthony Allen says, " Course, I've seen hurricanes and this probably ranks up there with one of the top storms in terms of intensity. And you can see there's a lot of damage here on our campus with trees and we have a lot of work ahead of us."
HLGU sent out a text message late last night saying that only essential personnel were required to come in to work on Tuesday.
