Harley Toy Run
QUINCY, Il. —
Motorcyclists rode in parade formation on Saturday morning for the annual Harley Toy Run.
The Toy Run was organized by the River Roads Chapter of the Harley Owners Group to benefit both Quincy and Hannibal's Salvation Army's Toy Town.
Twelve riders were escorted by a Quincy Police Officer and rode from Great River Road Harley Davidson at 52nd and Oak in Quincy to the Kroc Center.
Each rider gave a new toy to Salvation Army officials for the Toy Town program, which provides toys for families in need.
"It's always good to help out your fellow man, you know? We're not all fortunate enough to have, you know, a good Christmas," said Steven O'Dear of the Harley Toy Run.
The Salvation Army is still accepting donations.
