The first degree murder trial for Calvin Duane Pettey has been set for July 6th.
Pettey pleaded not guilty for the April 15th murder of his fiance, Sandra Fugate, the day before their wedding.
Fugate was found in the basement of the couple's home on Iowa Avenue in Hannibal.
Fugate had a daughter from a previous marriage and was employed by General Mills in Hannibal.
Judge Robert Clayton pushed for the July 6th date and stressed the seriousness and urgency of the case.
