      Hannibal man survives run-in with train

      A Hannibal man was taken to the hospital Sunday after his car was hit by a train.


      A Hannibal man was taken to the hospital Sunday after his car was hit by a train.


      The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Justin Meyer, 23, was driving in Marion County when he didn't yield at a railroad crossing.


      Authorities say that's when the train collided into his vehicle.


      Meyer was taken to Blessing Hospital with moderate injuries.


      His car was a total loss.


      Another driver involved in the crash received minor injuries and was able to drive away from the scene.
