Hannibal man arrested for possession of Meth
A Missouri man was arrested on Tuesday by the West Central Illinois Task Force and the Adams County Sheriff's Office.
A drug interdiction detail was conducted on Illinois 57 south of Marblehead.
William J. Ryan, 54 of Hannibal, Missouri, was stopped and the Adams County Sheriff's Office K9, Reno, conducted a sniff test on the vehicle.
Reno alerted to the presence of narcotics and a search revealed Methamphetamine ICE and drug paraphernalia.
Ryan was arrested on the charges of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
He was then transported to the Adams County Jail where he remains lodged pending a court appearance.
