Hannibal firefighters battle accidental fire

Hannibal firefighters responded to a structure fire Sunday afternoon.

When they arrived to 1243 Church Street, they saw heavy fire and smoke coming from the two story wood frame structure. All residents were out of the structure by the time firefighters arrived.

Firefighters had the fire under control within 15 minutes. Crews were on scene for three hours investigating the cause of the fire.

According to the Hannibal Fire Department, the fire was listed as accidental.
