A Warsaw man who led police on a high-speed chase is also charged with having a methamphetamine lab in his van.
Kenneth Day, 35, is charged with possession of meth-making materials, aggravated fleeing and eluding police and other traffic charges in the incident that occurred about 8:15 p.m. Monday.
A Hancock County Sheriff's deputy tried to stop the van east of Basco.
Day refused to stop, according to the Sheriff's Office.
He sped away at speeds of up to 100 mph, the Sheriff's Office said. The chase came to an end after a 12-mile pursuit that ended after Day's van got stuck in the mud.
Day's bail was set at $50,000. His next court date is April 21.
