Habitual offender gets 12 years on meth charges

A man with a long criminal history related to drug use and theft will spend the next 19 years of his life behind bars.

Russell Miller, 48, was sentenced Wednesday.

A jury found him guilty of aggravated meth manufacturing during a July trial.

Miller faced up to 22 years in prison.

He was arrested in May after police found evidence of a shake-and-bake lab at his home in the 700 block of Jackson Street.

Miller still faces theft charges in Lewis County Missouri after deputies there said he stole equipment from farms near Ewing and Maywood in 2012.
