Guilty pleas in Macon County sex case

A Moberly man pleaded guilty to numerous sex related felony charges this week.
Billie Spaid, 36, formerly of Macon, entered the pleas to two counts of second degree statutory rape, one count of enticement of a child, one count of second degree statutory sodomy and one count of first degree endangering the welfare of a child.
You may remember Spaid's wife, Christina, had previously pleaded guilty to four charges, including three felonies. Click here for that story. Those charges included having sexual activity with a blood relative under the age of 17 as well as sexual activity involving the family dog while her husband watched.
She was sentenced to serve seven years on each of the felony charges and one year on a misdemeanor charge.
Billie Spaid is scheduled for sentencing on June 26, 2013, in Macon County Circuit Court.
